They Might Be Giants’ eponymous first album is celebrating it’s 33 1/3 birthday and Idlewild Recordings is marking the occasion with a fully remastered vinyl re-issue. Long out of print in any physical format, this vinyl pressing has been a labor of love. Sensitively remastered at Sterling Sound by UE Nastasi, this is a project we know many of you have been waiting for. The vinyl edition will be especially dazzling--pressed on 180g opaque pink vinyl (!), these 2000 discs are hand-numbered, include the original lyric insert (with typos removed!), and a smartly reproduced cover all made under the careful guidance of art maestro TS Rogers.
